99 | 20023 | Very interesting professor, knows his stuff, actually manages to give intelligent and helpful criticism on your papers that you hand in. I loved my class I took with him. |
85 | 20023 | He is funny, a bit tough on grading but it's ok. |
99 | 20023 | I am taking my second class with Dr. Caschetta, both his Shakespeare classes are great. His grading is not that picky on papers. His exams are not tricky or complicated, all you have to do is show up to class most of the time and study for a half hour or so and you will be fine. He is one of the most thought provoking professors I have ever had, I will take more classes with him for sure. If you don’t want to hear the ultra liberal whining of all the other literature professors at RIT this is your guy. |
99 | 20023 | His Shakespeare classes are amazing. In the years of high school and college where I've read/studied Shakespeare, I understand it and enjoy it more now than ever thanks to Professor Caschetta. He goes into all aspects of the works and the times in which they were written. |
81 | 20012 | Keeps classes interesting, but expects too much out of writing. Likes papers to be really long and redundant. If you don't like writing five pages on a poem, pick a different teacher. |
68 | 20012 | if you are not a talented writer already, be prepared to do poorly in his class. he doesnt help you improve your writing if he doesnt like it, you just suffer his penalties and have to deal with it. goes off the topic ALL THE TIME. one time in class we talked about vasectomies, hockey and art in the same class! you can get a better teacher. stay away if possible. |
48 | 20012 | Instead of literature you talk about breast implants and shows videos of the beatings of women in the middle east....?? i dont know then he expects me to come to class and when i dont he refuses to tell me what the essay topics are? hmmm..... |

99 | 20011 | You will learn a lot more than just literature in his class. If you're a good writer and pay attention to class discussions, you will do well. |
99 | 20011 | I only got a C and B for his writing and lit courses, but this guy actually made me enjoy going to class. I would recommend him to anyone. Absolutely hilarious. |
99 | 20003 | Wonderful teacher. He knows alot of random knowledge and you learn more than just about Literature. He allows real class discussions and is open to opinions and new ideas. |
85 | 20003 | \Very good teacher...is fun to be in his class. Funny at sometimes. His corny jokes makes him funny as well. |
99 | 20003 | He's awesome. He takes trouble to teach and not JUST ASSIGN PAPERS. He's a great guy and grades easy. |
95 | 20002 | Hes a great professor. Who cares if hes opinionated. Everyone has an opinion and its not like he shoves it down your throat. He was always open to other people's ideas.
He grades the essays fair but still you need to have a good background in essay writing before coming into his class if you want to succeed. |
99 | 20002 | If you have a good background in writing, you will definitely succeed in his class. He's very open-minded, and you need to be too because he is also very opinionated. He may offend you at times, but he is an overall nice guy. |
95 | 20002 | Cause that's what he gave me. If you think you can write, take Dr. Caschetta. If you can't, don't. |
48 | 20002 | all he does is stand there and offend your opinions... |
