7520023He's a very educated man in his second career, but thats the extent of his qualifications. He repeats the powerpoint lectures word for word, and any meaningfull questions are met with another question. I rarely saw him answer anything asked with any real insight, instead, he puts you on the defensive. The labs are ok, but tests and quizes are sometimes misleading and questions on them confused. Take him becasue you have to, not because you want to. Make sure you just keep the work coming, and you can make it through. Not the greatest expert programmer you would hope to find, by a long shot.
8820023He's alright - as long you know the material, practice on your own.. You cant learn a new language without practicing it, right? Stay one step ahead of class, you can do that by practicing and doing labs before they come up - use his mycourses to get the class information ahead of time if possible. This way you can learn on your own and have him as a backup - i.e. anything you dont understand, can learn in class.

Overall, not the best but not the worst.. I wouldnt mind him for tech programming 1 + 2, but for 3 - recommend Hubbell.

7820012Easy class, but grades unfairly, and is really not a fun teacher to deal with. Highly unliked by students, and teaches nothing, hence his very low attendance.
9920011He is a funny guy, fat and cute.

8520011One of the better professors I've had. Trippe seems to know the material well (technical programming one.) He's a pretty good lecturer, and doesn't seem to get distracted easily. Also had him for Technical Programming two, seemed to know MOST of the material but couldn't answer a few questions. I recommend him for lower-level classes.
