| 99 | 20023 | C'mon, how can you knock a prof who makes Statistics fun? She was approachable and fair, a great lecturer who involved her students in every class, encouraged questions, and was an obvious expert in her field. "Boo-hoo, she had homework for us every night"--It only took a few minutes and basically required you to show up and pay attention. When you realize how much cash you spend to go here, you can thank her for making her class, one we all dread to take, well worth the time and effort. She is always a great help in and out of class, and should not be overlooked because she expects adults and the small commitment to actually attend the classes you pay so much for. |

Carol is the best teacher I have ever had, she is friendly caring, and a wonderful person. The comments are gone now but who ever gave used improper lang. is just an insecure person who dosen't possess the intelligence to construct a valid comment. Carol ROCKS!! |

All she expects you to study is what she teaches....she gives HW everyday which is quite a pain....and if you miss even 1 class u fall really behind...she doesent care enough to make her students understand....i would say take her only if you are prepared to work really really hard |
| 99 | 20012 | I cant belive some of these people voting. Carol is the nicest teacher that RIT offers. She may give a decent amount of work but she is ALWAYS fair. Plus she doesn't have "office hours" because she is ALWAYS available for questions. She would never be rude unless a student has done something to her first to provoke her. She is the one teacher that I would consider a true friend. You can talk to her about anything. Far from a racist too. Eddie Haskill loves Carol!!! |

| 91 | 20011 | A fairly good professor. There's homework every night, which counts for 25% of your grade. If you go to class, and do your homework on a fairly regular basis, she's cool if you have alot to do one or two nights and can't get it done. The HW really does help, though. Woulda done alot worse than a B without it. Good teaching style, brief instruction in the beginning, then individual/small group work to practice the concept of the day. Always willing to help, though in a class of 40 students, there's only one of her, and you can be waiting sometimes for a while before help arrives (not her fault, though...) Also, one of the few math professors at RIT who understands that technology has advanced past the abicus, and is very friendly to calculators on tests. |
