9920023Suits is pretty much the perfect teacher. Interesting, Open minded, easy-going, and whatever else describes the perfect teacher. I doubt you'll find anybody who dislikes this guy(in class or in life).
9520023He's a fair professor. The readings are kind of hard to understand but you can get away without reading them. Just take good notes in class. All the tests are take home.
9920012He is a very nice professor. Professor Suits knows his work extremely well
9920012It's all been said below. Especially the part about looking forward to going to class, - he's that good.
9920012What can I say, this guy rocks! His Sci-Phi Fiction class was probably the most interesting course I have taken to date. Great job!
9520012Prof Suits is amazing. He keeps his intro to philosophy class fun and its not too difficult either. He only gives take-home tests and he grades fairly. I highly recommend his classes.
9920012Excellent ethics professor. Made class fun for students, very fair grader.
9920011Absolutely loved Dr. Suits for Ethics. If you're going to take a philosophy class, find one that he teaches. This many "A" votes for him can't lie. Seriously, he just makes you want to sit back and talk about philosophy. I really looked forward to going to class.
9920011Suits is one of the best teachers Ive ever had. He makes Ethics easy to understand and grasp as a concept. His tests and grading are both very fair. He is willing to take time to help you understand concepts and overall has a good sense of humor.
9920011Prof. Suits is a great teacher. I took him for his Philosophy: Ethics class. Grading in the class was simple enough, 4 tests, thats it. The tests were somewhat difficult and required looking through the book for some answers. All 4 tests, including the final exam, was a take home test. Prof Suits's examples were usually totally off the wall and usually quite funny. Class flowed along quickly and never seemed to drag on and on.

Overall, nice guy, great teacher. Highly recommended.
9920011I took Philosophy: Ethics, and this guy was great. We took less than a page of notes a day, and the only grades were 4 take-home tests. All of the tests came right out of the notes. So as long as you go to the class and wake up every few minutes to jot down a few notes, you'll get an A. The readings are short, and optional in my opinion.
9920011Words can't explain his class. Absolutely amazing is the only thing that comes close. Dr. Suits takes Ethics and relates it with totally wacky off- the-wall stories. He keeps class moving and the way he teaches you always learn the material. Just an overall happy easy-going guy. I'd recommend him to anyone that asks and I'm probably going to be taking another course taught by him before I leave RIT.
9520011Great teacher makes Ethics interesting. His tests are take home. Makes you look forward to class.
9920003Prof Suits stimulated an interest in Philosophy I never knew I had. He inspired me to pursue it further and I now have a minor. Easy going atmosphere in class, fair grading, and lots of fun. Awesome guy.
9520003GREAT prof!! Makes you feel like kicking back with a good drink, and talking all philosophical-like! For real, I enjoyed him as a prof and highly reccomend his courses.
9920003Still my all-time favorite professor at RIT. He's not even in my field. He is a fair grader and excellent person.

9920002This guy actually makes philosophy fun. Funny, sarcastic, and really flexible when it comes to turning in assignments.
9920002One of the best professors RIT has to offer. Extremely generous with his outside time. Very willing to help you "get it". I dug this guy! Highly recommend him!

9520002I had him for Great Thinkers. He was nice guy... and taught a lot of stuff which was out of the book.. he drew up lectures very effectively so that you would learn a lot. He was ready to grade your final paper as many times as possible before the final deadline. If you started the work early... and went to him... he'd help you perfect your paper till it was an 'A'
