He is knowledgable in the class he teaches (General Physiology), and always strives to present an educational and entertaining class. His only downfall is that he is a little too picky over small details. Also, if you're in Biotech like me, you'll probably wonder why you're wasting your college tuition on General Phys. Most people could care less. |
| 61 | 20012 | I gave Dr. Merrill a D- for several reasons. First, he didn't get an F only because as department head, he has helped me out with academic stuff. However, as a professor, his class is horrible. General Physiology does not relate at all to anything I am interested in, which basically reduces this course to a scientific writing class. Labs aren't interesting, exams are a big change from Intro to Developmental, and Dr. Merrill seems to patronize people a lot. |
