95 | 20023 | He teaches slowly but he teaches. As long as you resist the urge to check your mail all class, you'll do well. |
58 | 20023 | He knows programing, but his style of teaching isn't very good and he doesn't explain things well. Unlesss you already understand the material he is teaching you probably will not get much out of his classes. He often gets confused and has to change statements that he makes. |
61 | 20023 | I took Tech Transfer with this guy. Really, it is a business course. Grading is not fair because he is so touchy about what he wants. For example, on the midterm, if you went wrote more than what he thought you should, you lost most credit. He seems like an OK guy but I really dislike him as a professor for his grading and teaching skills. I will get a good grade out this but this is a complete waste of time. Never lets you out early and wants to deny your breaks. Very boring and dry lecture. |
99 | 20023 | Had him for Java217. Fair grader, always there in his office hours. Take him!!! |
95 | 20023 | Great Teacher! I had him for Intro to Database and I learned a lot from him. He's a great guy, he's willing to help you and he grades very fairly. Reads straight off his power point slides, but I definatly recommend taking him for database, he knows his stuff! |
75 | 20012 | Insists that we throw away any writing style that we have developed and regurgitate information. That's fine - but don't call the assignments "perspective" papers.
I agree that his past experience in the field shows through, but if his object is to teach us about business, he could start by telling his students that he expects papers to be written in a junior-high fashion. |
99 | 20012 | Knows his stuff when it comes to tech transfer. Don't know if i'd trust taking a programming class from him. Also a very easy going man who will work around your mishaps. |
85 | 20012 | not bad, would be able to tell you more had I actually showed up to class most of the time. |
91 | 20011 | Fairly good professor, he can explain the material well (Java I) and uses many examples. |
95 | 20011 | Excellent Professor! I would have given him an A+, but the only thing holding me back is that sometimes I think there are clearer ways he can explain things to students. He is always very willing to help a student with any problem or question. I would highly recommend this professor... |
99 | 20003 | Excellent professor. Very efficient and organized. Assignments are well laid out and graded fairly. I highly recommend him. |
99 | 20003 | He made class as interesting as possible for the subject matter. His knowledge from previous experience shines through. I definately recommend him. |
85 | 20002 | Had him for Tech Transfer, which is a dry class to begin with, and his teaching doesn't make it much more interesting. However, he's very fair with his tests and grading and often available for help.
*Never* lets you out of class early though, if that matters to you |

99 | 20002 | Whoever said that he was always available for help is right. He's one of the few IT professors who is willing to let you into his office outside of office hours. His grading system is very fair and he certainly is willing to listen to any retorts you may have about things he marked wrong. |
