| 48 | 20023 | This professor is the worst professor that I have ever had. This "learning community", as she likes to call it, is not a community, but a dictatorship where your opinion means nothing. By taking this class I have become more stupid than I was before. The class "discussions" were a little ridiculous when you were called on to read a particular paragraph from the book (which only was used to confirm white, make, capitalistic values), at a seventh grade level. This is by far the worst professor that I have ever had in my entire educational career! |

Your opinion does not matter unless it is backed by facts from the textbook, class notes, and lectures. You get brownie points for mentioning globalization or indigenous in any of your TYPED assignments. She also requires too much work for not enough credit. I thought that Miss Cleo was a nice lady, but I have learned otherwise. AVOID. |
| 61 | 20023 | She is very unclear as to what she wants you to submit. She varies from opinion and experiences to information directly from the book. Class is childish trying to force discussion. Way too much work for a 2 credit course (Senior Seminar). Avoid this professor! |
| 48 | 20023 | AS a 5th year MET student I took her Senior Sem class only becuase I knew nothing better. I learned that I am smarter than her because I can spell the word SUMMATION instead she struggled to get by the first M. Second of all if you have an opinion on anything in class you are wrong becuase your opinion doesn't matter in this "discussion based" class. Absolutely the worst teacher I have ever taken at RIT so I warn you all to stay away |
| 75 | 20023 | Not recommended though if you want to get an A on her "one-page" summaries make them 5 pages. Doesn't matter what you write just make it long. I don't think she reads it, just gives the A. |
| 65 | 20023 | Grades incredibly harshly on her frequent written assignments. You could be a literary major and still get poor grades here. Too much work for a 2 credit class. Was annoyed at her need to call on us to participate in class discussion. Wrote lots of long papers and participated in EVERY class discussion and still only pulled a B. Senior year is enough work, why add to it with such an unimportant class? |
| 88 | 20023 | Sometimes she is very confusing.She is a very strict teacher. Once the paper is due, she won't give you any point even she reads it. I keept up with her assignments and earn an "A" in her class.(Senior Seminar Winter'03) However,I hated this class because there were lots of works for a 2-credit course. |
