5320023Dr. Skuse should stick to Bioinframatics, not anatomy and physiology! He may know some of the physiology but never ask him about anatomy. He will never admit when he is wrong and is often rude to students who question him. As for a lecturer, he does NOT lecture well, he reads off his notes and is flustered when he loses his spot. He knows enough about the course to review it but not enough to go in depth or thoroughly explain many things. I'm ecstatic the Biology Department is looking for a replacement profressor for P&A
9920023I loved Dr. Skuse. There was a ton of information but he made it fun and exciting. Tests can be tricky but you only have to study his notes. I don't think I opened the $100 book once, so think twice about investing in it. I would definatly take another course with him!
8120012kept course interesting but did not keep pace with lab. this made the lab portion of the course much more difficult
8820003Your grade which you recieve in the class DOES NOT reflect how much you have learned in his course...and that is unfrortunate. I took ALOT away from his lectures and thought he was VERY great in that aspect...however his tests over emphasised minute details. (but maybe that forced me to study more).
Diagrams and organization was outstanding!! One of the better Biology teachers at RIT! Keep up the good work Dr.Skuse!

9920002I've only had Dr. Skuse for General Phys lab; but he was an awesome teacher and left a great impression from that.
8520002Dr. Skuse gives an excellent lecture. My experience in his class was great. I learned a lot, and found his lectures to be very interesting. The only problem with his class is that he makes his exams VERY difficult. The grade you earn in his class does not reflect how much you have learned. Overall he is an excellent speaker.
9120002Very good teacher. Makes class fun. Encourages questions about anything, not just anatomy. Although sometimes tends to put questions off until next time and never gets to them.
