| 71 | 20023 | Had her for Physics III. She's not a particularly good professor. She discourages questions in class (She actualy had a talk with me about why I shouldn't answer other people's questions duing class -- apparently she's ignoring them for a reason). Tests are basicaly fair except for the mulitple choice -- which are worth very large point values are are extreamly difficult. I learned most of the class material from my friends or from the book. On the plus side she gave lots of extra credit and then curved the whole class almost a letter grade -- but that may just be my experience. She's not good but you could do much worse in the RIT physics departement. |

You can't understand a word she says through her accent, and she thinks everything she explains is the simplest thing in the world and that you should understand it right off. She obviously knows her stuff, but she has no ability to teach. She was constantly either late or missing from our classes, wrote small on the board, and talked arrogantly to the students. Nevertheless, her grading scheme allows you to get a B without really trying. |

she's a very nice lady that can be very helpful if you have the time to deal with her on a one on one basis. She knows the material very well, and can sometimes take a joke. The biggest plus is the usual generous curve. Keep thins in mind! the cons: She can be very confusing in the actual lecture and just completly rude at times. She gets frustrated enough to walk out on classes, and really has no control of the floor. Can be annoying if you're not used to heavy symbolic manipulation. the conclusion: take her if you have a general understanding of physics or if you have the time to make weekly visits to the office. I think she's on the level and I enjoyed her class at times (not many times). |
