91 | 20023 | I had him for Processes II, and for that class it is best to sit in the front for his voice can really make you fall asleep. He does make some jokes and talks to you in the 5 min break he gives you. He is very approachable and answers all questions you have for him and if he doesn't know the answer he will find it out for you. He is a good professor and i recomend him. |
91 | 20023 | Cool guy, tough grader, expects alot from his students, 4 papers, 4 exam, an oral presentation, a project and a final for manufacturing processes 2. |
99 | 20023 | Very good professor! He does require a ton of work, but it is meaningfull, and worth while work. I learned a great deal from him. At first the work that you do seems trivial, but once you look back, and realize what you "actually" did, it was a great deal learned. His grading is a bit tough; however, he does curve. He grades to "industry standards." He grades papers, tests, projects, and lab reports as if you were writing them for a professional company, but, he does curve. He is a very fair and understanding man. Willing to give extensions if needed; just ask. He is very approachable, and encourages students to approach him. If I ever again get the chance to have him as a professor, I will. I have had him three times so far, and I really like him as a professor. |
75 | 20012 | Lots of work, but a nice guy, real tough grader, he expects everything to be perfect, but in the end he gives a decent curve |
68 | 20012 | Very vague assignments, harsh grading, many people in my class recieving excessively low grades. On the plus side he arranges interesting tours, and his lectures aren't bad. |
95 | 20011 | It's true that professor Freckleton expects a lot of work from his students, but it's worth it. He's a great teacher, and if you are willing to work hard, you'll find that you really enjoy his class. I had him for Processes II. He requires you to do a small amount of reasearch on topics not covered in the curriculum and to write a short paper describing what you learned. This is really kind of nice, because you get to pick the topic that you study. |
71 | 20003 | A lot of time wasted on things that are not related to the course. Very unclear about what he wants sometimes. OK for easy courses but defiantly avoid him for harder more involved classes. |

81 | 20002 | We're too old for busy work... summary papers are a waste of time #formula to get an "A" is such that only a quick two minute read is it you do...never read or learn anything. Also, book chosen is horible!!! We have to bring book to class to make changes to text #doesn't say much for book. |

71 | 20002 | If you take him for anything expect to do a lot of work. Once you figure out what he wants getting a good grade in his class isn't too hard, if you don't mind spending pointless hours in the library doing research on pointless stuff. I had him for Manufacturing Processes II. For his notebook just get a lot of articles put them together and hand them in its not even a letter grade just a + or -. His grading is rediculous. He expects too much from students and when you think you did good you really didnt cause he always finds something wrong with it. Definitely do not take him with other hard courses or teachers. Thats a bad combination. |
