I've taken five of his classes, and as long as you do the assignments and attend lecture, you will do well in his class. pay attention and participate in lecture and it goes by fast and painless. he is a really nice guy and has been in the field for a long time so he has a lot of insight into a lot of different things. he is very eager to talk to students about carreer exploration as well. |

| 88 | 20003 | Easy. Class is not always the most interesting time but a good GPA booster! He also really cares about the student and is willing to give extensions if necessary. I have had him for several classes and plan on taking him again. |
| 78 | 20003 | He misses a ton of classes..not that, that is a bad thing but I really didn't feel like I learned anything in his classes. He is monotone and not all that exciting. If your looking for an easy class take one of his. |

| 71 | 20002 | He is a very dry one-word response type of person. If your looking for great detail, do not attempt to ask Professor Violanti. Lectures are a waste of time to attend because all of the information you can receive by just printing off his course web site. I expected RM1 to be a little more challenging. I will not be prepared for RM2 with Gorthy. For what I hear, these two classes/professors are like night and day. |
