99 | 20023 | One of the most brilliant professors I've ever had the pleasure of learning from. If you're rusty with the math involved in the course, he'll teach it to you...and then he'll ram it down your throat for a 3 hour lab :) One of the few who "keeps it real" and sees things in a simplistic, down-to-earth light. Tests and homeworks are challenging, but you will LEARN from this guy. |
99 | 20023 | Jackson is the man.. |
81 | 20023 | smart, but lazy. dont expect anyhting graded on time. bulk of material comes in last couple weeks. |
99 | 20023 | Jackson is the man. Great teacher, one of the few teachers at RIT who can actually convey information. |
99 | 20023 | I think Prof.jackson is a brilliant and a higly conceptual person. His assignments, quizzes and exams are challenging but that's what which brings the excitement in if you are really looking to master the concepts dealing with the subject.Very Thorough with what he teaches.I used to ask him one question and used to receive two solutions! He understands the problems of students. An asset to the MicroE dept. |
99 | 20012 | I took Semiconductor Electronics in the EE department and this guy was nice enough to teach my lab for us!! This guy is a quality asset to the MicroE department, and he is willing to devote himself to his classes. |
99 | 20011 | The best professor in the MicroE department period. He teaches you well and his doesn't give "surprise" tests about things he hardly covered like some other teachers in the department. |
99 | 20003 | One of the best professors I've had the pleasure of taking at RIT. He's fair, very intelligent, and makes the point of making sure every student in his classes understands what is going on. His homework can be tricky but all his problems are fairly straightforward and definately usefull stuff to know. |

99 | 20002 | Dr. Jackson is one of the best professors in the MicroE dept. He explains every topic very logically. His homework is very reasonable and his exams and quizzes always cover the homework. He really wants you to understand the concepts. His grading style is very fair also. |
99 | 20002 | He is very good instructor in Magnetic field I, and II, Optics, and other courses. He works hard to help students to understand these materials. |
