99 | 20023 | A great teacher for any calculus. Incredibly helpful in and out of class. Gives a lot of partial credit on hw and tests. |
95 | 20023 | Her lectures might be a little dry and hard to follow at times, but her policy makes up for it. There is quite a bit of homework, but its not too bad. If there's any confusion in lecture, the worksheets teach you the material while you are doing them. Clark integrates technology into her class, calculators are allowed on nearly everything and half the labs are in Mathmatica. Some people complain about Mathmatica, but if you take the time to learn it as she's teaching it it's easy and useful. There is a 5% bonus on anything if its turned in early. She will take things late, she is very understanding and nice. All of the grades are online, and they are extremley detailed, so there's no suprise when you get your grades. Take this teacher, you will get something from this class. |
95 | 20023 | She is a great teacher, who offers plenty of assistance outside of class on assignments if necessary. Offers opportunity for extra credit, and the amount of work is reasonable. |
99 | 20012 | Very good teacher. She really teaches her classes well and doesn't give you just 3 test and a final. You get quizzes, project, homework, and the lab to help with your grade. If you ask for help, she will help you. |
85 | 20012 | From my experience with her in Calc 2, I never want to take another class with her. However, this is only because the way she teaches is SO effective. A homework assignement every day, a worksheet assigned in class every day that would frequently turn into that night's homework, 2 labs a week, 1 quiz/test a week, and a MAJOR, 4 or 5 weeks long project that hits you out of nowhere. It's easy to hate all that work, but if you bust your butt, you get it done and you learn it. Great teacher, but im so glad it's over. |

78 | 20012 | She teaches well, but tends to rely on the worksheets and labs too much. She is not the kind of teacher that needs to be avoided, but if you take her be prepared to teach yourself. |
99 | 20012 | Dr Clark is the most available professor I have had. She is almost always around and willing to help if you have a question. Grading is fair and homework is relevant to material covered. Excellent experience. |
68 | 20012 | Amount of work she assigns is overwhelming. Worksheet in class, plus homework, plus the stupid mathamatica labs. Homework is graded strictly as if it was a test. |
95 | 20012 | Very nice and patiant lady. She says "no late assignments accepted" but she will take assignment anytime throughout the year. Her websight is also extreamly helpful to check grades, old homeworks, assignments, and getting practice quizes. There is homework 3 nights a week and a quiz once a week but it is all very managable. I have had her for calc 2 and 3. You have a good amount of in class work, but overall, shes a good calc teacher. |
99 | 20012 | great teacher actually does examples on the board, posts practice tests and quizes on her site which are just like the real thing. gives weekly adgenda so you know whats going on. you get work sheets and homework but not too bad, even extra credit for early work |
95 | 20011 | |
99 | 20011 | The best professor I've had at RIT so far. There is fair amount of work in her classes, but it's worth it: you leave class having mastered the subject. Very fair grading policies. |
95 | 20011 | Great teacher and always available for help. Graded homework is a pain, but forces you to do the assignments. I would definately tak her again. |
95 | 20004 | She's a great teacher. There's a lot of work in the class, but she actually does TEACH and HELP you. Definately recommended. |
99 | 20004 | She was very helpful and assigned appropriate homework. Learning Mathematica was an extra plus. Her website is always updated and she gives full explanations of all homwork and test problems (available on the web). |
99 | 20003 | The best professor I have had at RIT so far. Her class is a lot of work, but you learn an exceptional amount. She's very willing and available to help students, and she is a fair grader. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is interested in learning. |
99 | 20003 | teaches material very well. always there for help. cares about how well her students do. |
95 | 20002 | |
99 | 20002 | wonderful teacher, she is available every day in the math and science help room for like three hours. she is alot of help on himework and uses the HW grade for much of your final grade which helps if you screw up tests.TAKE THIS TEACHER!!! |
99 | 20002 | Nice. Helpful. Always has time for students. Very thorough, clear presentation. |
91 | 20002 | NEVER HAD HER, BUT HEARD SHE WAS EXCELLENT... |
99 | 20002 | Diff Eq: Prof. Clark is awesome! If you hand in your hw/lab a day early you get 5% extra points.
quizes&test are a bit long, but she gives you all the time you need after class to finish it off. The best Maths teacher I've had so far. |
85 | 20001 | Easy quizzes but hard tests. But she gives homeworks with extra credits to help you out. |
78 | 19993 | |
95 | 19993 | if available, take before anyone else. |
91 | 19993 | Excellent teacher that makes you learn the subject through weekly assignments. Lots of work, but a payoff of a good grade and an understanding of the material. Plenty of assignments to increase your grade. Very hands-on. Likes to work with the students. Had for Calc III and IV. |
