| 75 | 20012 | Well, i am sure she is quite competent, but unfortunately not in the area that our class was suposed to be about. shes nice enough, but doesnt grade too well and often has problems understanding the students answers, ie we had to explain how our programs worked. also, there was a lot of material not covered in the class that should have been. i would not take a class with her again if i have the choice. she just didnt mesh with my style, nor the other students it seems... |

| 95 | 20003 | Dr. Robinson was a first year teacher my freshman year (97). I have had her for 3 or 4 more classes since then. She is easy to understand and writes her notes in a clear manner. She does LOTS of examples in class, so you get a good start for the weekly homework problems just from your notes. I have found that she really cares about how the class is doing. We even had in class polls about what we'd like to see changed about the class. Sometimes she is a little too picky about the small details... but that is mostly just her way to train us to pay attention to them. She teachers more like a Junior High teacher than an engineer.. and for some of us, this is a WELCOMED change. |

She surprised the class with a few difficult tests that would have taken more than an hour to complete. The goals for the project were not clearly explained. She isn't horrible, but she's not the best. She will take time to explain a problem to you if you are stuck. |
