95 | 20023 | Took Prof. Shearman for ES1, 2, and 3. At first I hated what he was trying to teach. It was so rudimentary and nit-picky, but then I realized that there are so many things that're overlooked. Instead of saying "Can we do this?" he helped me look at it like "Should we do this?" Opened my eyes to a brand new perspective, and I thank him very much for this. |
81 | 20011 | somewhat interesting, alright exams, hated project though |
81 | 20011 | A great guy, but his lectures don't make a lot of sense sometimes, and that can be very aggrivating, occasionally shoots down people in class discussion, but overall facilitates some very nice debates. The more you get to know him personally the better you'll get along in his class

85 | 20011 | purposely took him for a second time. he's not the greatest teacher i've ever had, but his tests were fair and his discussions were interesting. i recommend biodiversity. |
48 | 20003 | hmm there seemed to be a large amount of F's for grades in my class with him, you wouldn't believe the number. I thought his lectures were disorganized and random. He was completly boring and a bit of a flake. I would never recommend him to anyone. I think it might be a sign of laziness on the teacher's part when they base 90% of the class grade on 2 tests. |
91 | 20003 | Easy, but redundant course. Some things of interest come up but a lot of topics go around in circles. Grades are based on two tests and two "projects" |

95 | 20001 | He's kinda goofy, but interesting. He grades pretty fairly. |
95 | 20001 | GREAT lectures! His lectures are also like discussions where the students can input also, so they aren't boring at all. Overall his teaching style and personality makes him a great professor. |
95 | 20001 | Interesting lectures and class disucussions - great prof :) |
