95 | 20023 | Very smart teacher, but doesnt use powerpoint, its real hard to read his notes. I had him for DC and the key is not to fall behind early. As for the people that dont like him, are you sure your in the right school, its not that hard. However there was alot of homework. |
99 | 20023 | This guy knows his stuff cold. I would recommend anyone take this professor for anything they want to understand inside and out. He presents the material in an organized fashion, stays on schedule, and somehow finds time for real world stories and answering questions. He never had a question asked of him he could not answer well. He's as fair a grader and friendly/helpful in and out of class as they get. Take him as much as you can, and you should have a fun time. |
99 | 20023 | This professor is truly concerned about every student's success and it shows in the way he teaches. Hard work is required on the student's part and in the end you walk away with a decent grade and most importantly, knowledge. |
99 | 20023 | Hes right up there with cliver will meet with you whenever and really cares if you learn and how he is doing. awsome guy |
99 | 20023 | First off, any intelligent person would know that Prof. Ciccarelli does not grade the HW himself. He has TA's that grade the hw and depending on who you get for a grader the HW's might be a little tough on your grade. As for a professor, Ciccarelli is great. He knows his stuff, has a sense of humor, and really cares if a student understands the material or not. If you pay attention in class and do the hw then his tests are cake. The people that gave him F's probably did a lazy job on the HW or didn't even do it at all, which lead to bad grades on the tests. I had him for DC circuits but I would recommend him for any class. |
99 | 20023 | He rocks! |
88 | 20023 | Good professor. Willing to help you out a lot with questions. Cool guy. Relies on overheads. Posts notes sometimes online. |

91 | 20023 | Good at presenting material, understandable, and very approachable. The only problem is that he gives alot of home work. |
91 | 20023 | Learned a lot. Workload is hard to get used to at first. Tells funny stories. Very helpful if you ask questions. |
99 | 20023 | I had him for Matlab and for Intro to Digital Systems and loved every minute. A great teacher and a great guy. He'll talk with you about the lastest developments in the EE fields in free time and is always willing to help. People complaining about too much HW don't realize that you will fail without HW. You might be able to do DC circuits and maybe even AC circuits, but once you get to really hard classes, your DC circuits foundation needs to be perfect or it will really hurt your GPA. |
99 | 20023 | I had him for DC Circuits and he does give a TON of homework up until about the 7th week or so. That takes some getting used to, but otherwise a great teacher you should definitely take if you have the chance. Update - I had him for Electronics 1 and the homework was reasonable and not collected. Definitely take him if you have the chance! |
48 | 20012 | The worst teacher ever. He is the most strictest grader ever. |

95 | 20012 | Very good teacher. Comunicates very well to class and is very clear on what he expects you to know. |
91 | 20012 | not a bad professor. Had him for intro to digital systems, if you did the homework (which you didn't have to submit), and understood it, there's no problem getting an A in this class. |
58 | 20012 | Terrible grader. Doesn't initially tell you the proper format for the homework, then takes 20 points off when you can't read his mind and do it the right way. Doesn't care too much about right answers, just as long as it looks pretty. |
99 | 20012 | Always helpful with any problems and explained material well. If you show up, ask questions, and pay attention it's hard to not get an A. |
99 | 20012 | great teacher, bends over backwards to help his students. The only problem is he seems to think that a test average of C is good. So you have to work to get an A in his class. But if you understand the material, you're all set. |
