Most of the grade is based on essays that you write, but you get a choice in what you want to write about. He's also a fair grader. As long as you know what you're talking about you'll have no problem getting at the very least a B. |

| 88 | 20012 | This guy really cares about what he teaches, and goes to great lengths to make sure you understand. Nevertheless, for all his efforts, the class can still be very boring, and it would help if he allowed a break in between it all. However, he cares more about the end result of how much you've learned in the class, and so the final paper will factor much more heavily into the grade than anything else. As such, the damage of earlier blunders in the class is kept to a minimal. It's not a cake course, but you will learn a lot. |

| 99 | 20011 | The best liberal arts teacher i've taken here at RIT. Great grasp of the material, always prepared, and gives remarkable consideration in his evaluation of student work. He is friendly and easily approachable. That said, don't expect an "A" in his class without an exceptional ammount of quality work. He makes you earn the grade you get. |
