8120023She's not so bad, and her accent is really not a problem at all. She is a prompt and fair grader, and if you do ALL the homework you'll be fine. I didn't know jack about discrete math and was still able to pull an A even after skipping half the classes - I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing though...? Sometimes I was frustrated in her inability to explain examples.

9920023wanda is really nice and you learn a lot in her class. It's not difficult to do well either. She isn't the easiest professor, but if you want to learn and you are willing to do the work (which there isn't much of) you will do great in her class
6820023Just an overall bad teacher, not worth my tuition money
5320012This professor sucks. Not only she can't explain the problem, she never finishes the problem. Her tests suck, you forget a minus sign and you loose half credit. Avoid her at all cost
9920012Although, at times, she can make a mistake here and there, her exams are fair. Even better, she is great one on one!! If you don't understand something, see her after class or during her office hours!! She is more than happy to help, and she does a great job!!
4820012Do you know how many times I heard people walking away from her throwing their hands up in frustration saying, "I'm going to talk to the depeartment head." This class was rediculous, she couldn't even do the homework right, and then when you get at test back you have a 50/50 chance of being raped. I'll sooner post-pone taking a class than take another one with her
5320012Could not understand a word this teacher had to say. The fact that she could do 3 problems in a class and at the end of class realized that she made a mistake in the first one wasn't too great. If I took this class again, I'd need an interpreter. I do not recommend taking this class with her as the teacher.
7120012my first calc class ever was with this woman... think of that experience! She actually did guide me well though. I must admit that she can be a plain and simple idiot in her methodology. Be prepared to hear the sentance "What dontcha like" in a whiney polish accent about 4 times durring each meeting. I thought her grading was very fair, and her willingness to help her students should be commended which is why I give her an average grade.

5320011The accent is awful, the way she does examples hurts my head and her test have such little room for error. i hate this teacher, where does RIT find people like this?? My god, she made me lose all interest i had in calc, it was a horrible experience
6820011couldnt understand what she is saying well or read what she writes on the board. she doesnt explain things well either. Also, when people ask her questions, it takes her 5 years to figure it out and solve it herself. But, her tests werent too bad, but plan on learning mostly from the book.
4820011AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Send her back to her homeland! The only people who should take her class are deaf students that can get an interpreter. Hearing student definitely will not understand a single concept from her. Also, she does nice example problems until she realizes that she made a mistake...then she gets confused, her brain starts working overtime, the smoke fills the room, and everyone fails the exam for pointing out her mistake to her. THIS ONE SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS.
8120011Good intent, often times with poor follow through
9920011ok so she is confused and rather boring. you can skip her class, as long as you show up the day before a test you are set. you can always make a "cheap sheet" wheather or not she says its alright you can use it. i had her for calc 4 and matrix and bound value problems. receiving a B, A respectively without doing any homework. also she can convey information much better in person than in class i think an audience makes her nervous. not a bad teacher to take if you want to get highest grades with minimal work!!
8520011Knows her material and will explain it well on her third attempt. Be patient, and don't write down her examples until she is finished. She's prone to making mistakes. If you do the problems on your own, you'll be fine. Her tests aren't overly difficult, but her grading is harsh at selected isntances.
8520011Guys calc. is hard plain and simple if you have problems understand forem teachers do not take her but if you need some good tests that you can study for and not get blown away by ...she is the choice for you ..anyway I give her a B she is not that bad my god!
8520004If you don't understand calculus then don't take this professor. Has difficulty explaining the material at times. Otherwise she is a fair grader and a good teacher.
5320003Can not explain things well

9520003Once you get past the accent, you find that she's very thorough. She uses a lot of examples to explain her lessons.
6120002she doesn't seem to know what she is talking about...and is not good at explaining anything...avoid her at all costs
9520002I've had her twice for Diff Eq and Calc IV, and I think she's a great teacher, she has a great system, and she's a nice person. People need to get over her accent, and see what she's really capable of. I've been to her office several times, and she's always been nice to me.
4820002This is the worst teacher I have ever encountered in my life. She cannot speak English and her handwriting is not legible, no concept for the language. I don't even think she knows what's she's saying.

AVOID!

7120002She wouldn't be that bad if she could speak English
4820002i love copying problems for a half an hour before the teacher realizes that she did something wrong at the very beginning. read the book and only go to class for the tests. you'll learn more
5320002Learn English! If you could understand her, she'd be a much better teacher.

8820001Sometimes difficult to understand, but very nice on the personal level. Very willing to help you as long as you're willing to put in the time... knows her calc very well but oftentimes spends too much time on the theory instead of on useful problems. Tests were fairly easy, and she gives partial credit, which is helpful in long, long problems where it's easy to go astray. She sometimes gets tripped up on algebra though. Wait for her to FINISH a problem before you write it down in your notes.
